The Essaouira Gliss City (EGC) association bore until January 2015, the name of UCPA Morocco, born in 2001.

The spirit of our association

Essaouira Gliss City’mainly emphasizes training, employability and access to sport for the greatest number with a view to professional and social integration but also to education of the person and development.

Thus EGC acts in the sphere of local development and at the national level thanks to the strong mobilization and involvement of all of its staff. < br> The trust and involvement of our partners, old and new, private and public, obliges us to perform better. 

Orientations - Sports Camps - Sports Holidays

The 4 main lines of action of EGC are:

• Animation and prevention actions to participate in the education of young people through sports and fight against poverty and precariousness.
• Training andemployment to contribute to social and economic development, then also set up training actions for young people presenting, particular motivations in order to insert them, in the professional life of the animation and the sport and thus to accompany, the national policy in its tourist objectives.
1. Access to leisure and sporting holidays for all with the aim of social diversity
2. Accessibility to outdoor sports leisure activities for all young people without distinction.
3. Access to sportseducational and vacation courses for the greatest number of young Moroccans and foreigners.
• Exchanges and international solidarity projects between young Moroccans and French people to promote and strengthen the rapprochement and friendship between the two young people.

Our presence in the city of Essaouira for 15 years has enabled us to establish many contacts and to be very well established there today.
We carry out many projects with our associative and institutional partners, particularly around nautical activities and on the training axis.

Our partners in Essaouira are numerous : The Mohammed 6 Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, The Royal Moroccan Sailing Yachting Federation, the Province, the Municipality, Civil Protection, Provincial Delegation of National Education of Essaouira, Delegation of Youth and Sports, Delegation of National Mutual Aid, the Ibtissama association, the Bayti association, association at the heart of friendship, the Dar Souiri association, the association for the protection of disabled children…

Highlight

The year 2009 marks a turning point for EGC (formerly UCPA Morocco), which, thanks to its actions of solidarity and awareness of the environment, was rewarded, alongside the largest Moroccan companies, with the trophy of the initiative in the operation of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the protection of the environment "Clean Beaches Blue Flag 2008" chaired by Her Highness Princess Lala Hasna.
